Sashiko Visible Mending creative workshop with Donna Gordge

Sashiko is a traditional Japanese stitching technique used to reinforce, mend or beautify cloth items. It is particularly decorative and can be used in all sorts of creative ways.

Donna will show you how to create patches. You can bring along any woven fabric garments which might need mending or that you’d like to decorate. No prior sewing skills required.
