Wet Felting for Beginners Workshop

Join textile artists Rosalind Hunt and Judith Styles to learn how to create art with wool blends using this unique wet rubbing technique.

The creation of fabric from wool tops is exciting. Come and experience the joy of creating and discover the artist within... all while surrounded by The Golden Thread exhibition by the Felt Collective and the Mitcham Felters.

Artists would expect to take home a small piece of handmade felt and nuno felt suitable to make into a piece of art, or other useful item such as brooch, book cover or cosy.

Students will create a vessel using a resist and a thread of gold.

Please bring a large and small towel, all other resources will be provided.

Please bring your own lunch. Morning and afternoon tea provided by the Gallery.
