Australian Early Development Census working group
The Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) provides a snapshot of early childhood development in our region.
Data is collected every 3 years and indicates the percentage of children considered vulnerable on several measures when starting school. Libraries are critical tools in early learning across all of the measures considered the survey, so we are well placed to lead a working group of local stakeholders to develop strategies to address vulnerabilities.
You can read more about the survey at Australian Early Development Census and download the Community Profiles for our region.
