It's registration time
4 Aug. 2021It’s dog registration time again and making sure your fur-baby is correctly registered is easy, quick and can be done online anywhere, anytime!
When you receive your registration renewal notice from Dogs and Cats Online (DACO) via your nominated method of SMS, email or post, simply go to dogsandcatsonline.com.au and follow these six steps to renew your pup’s registration:
- Hit the ‘Register’ button
- Select ‘Renew Registration’
- Enter your renewal code and your surname
- Check your details (both yours and your pets)
- Add any new pets (if applicable)
- Complete payment
All dogs over three months old must be registered. If a new fur-baby has recently joined your family you can head to dogsandcatsonline.com.au to register new additions, transfer registration to another owner and transfer microchip details.
Dog registration fees are set annually by Council and are detailed in our Fees and Charges Register.
If your furry friend has sadly passed away you can also record their deceased status through dogsandcatsonline.com.au so that you no longer receive registration renewal notices.
Renewing your pet’s registration and maintaining up to date details ensures the best chance of you being reunited with your pet should they go missing.
