Shop the Tanunda way
6 Nov. 2023The Barossa Council is pleased to be partnering with the local traders to host the Tanunda Christmas Shopping Night and Barossa Made Market on Thursday 23 November.
Twenty participating Tanunda businesses will keep their doors open late to enable locals and visitors alike to stroll the main street and take advantage of great offers.
The Barossa Visitor Centre will also host a special Barossa Made Christmas Twilight Market with over 30 market stalls featuring local handcrafted and artisan items in Tanunda Town Square.
“We know the community wants to support its own, and now more than ever we are encouraging the community to shop local,”
“We’re also inviting South Australians from outside the region to make the trip to support our Tanunda traders and local craftspeople by purchasing something truly unique for everyone on their Christmas gift list.”
At the Barossa Made Market, locals and visitors will be able to meet the maker, connect with their story and give a unique, handcrafted gift this Christmas.
“The Barossa boasts many artists, craftspeople and producers that create beautiful and unique regionally sourced products,” said Jo. “Handcrafted pottery, natural skincare, bespoke leather products, jewellery, fashion and handmade food products are all part of the offering.”
The event will run from 4pm to 8pm with a family-friendly market atmosphere centred around the Tanunda Town Square, including live music and ‘one-night-only’ shopping specials throughout the main street.
