Always open online, new website now live

Our new website has customers at the heart of its design and functionality. You can give feedback or suggestions on the new website at

The website refresh project aims to be simple, smart, secure and accessible in line with Council’s Digital Strategy.

We recognise that digital technology is critical to modernising our services, and that we meet demand for 24-7 accessibility alongside providing choice to our customers in how they do business with us

“The website will improve the customer experience and help us resolve enquiries faster by providing timely and accurate information and advice on demand.”

Developed by SimpleGov, the website is packed with features to create a great user experience such as seamless online application forms, the ability to lodge requests and applications online, maps to pin point nearby facilities and easy to navigate news and events features.

Sustainable resourcing of Council’s digital strategy will ensure the website remains fit for purpose into the future, alongside the development and management of additional customer focused digital tools such as a Council mobile app due to launch in the first quarter of 2021.

“We are confident our new website will better meet customer needs, and, given our commitment to continuous improvement, we welcome any feedback and encourage people to do so through our Your Say Barossa online platform,” said Mayor Lange.
