Have your say on Krieg Park bmx trail

BMX riders and the wider community are invited to give feedback on the proposed BMX trail at Krieg Park, Nuriootpa.

The Barossa Council has endorsed a proposal by the developers of Krieg Park to upgrade the existing Baird Street Reserve, which adjoins the development.

Council will contribute $15,000 to help develop the informal dirt bmx track as part of the project, which also includes landscaping, tree planting and a new grassed play area.

People can take the survey on proposed features of the track at Your Say Barossa.

Mayor Lange encouraged young people, in particular, to have their say on the features of the bmx trail to ensure it meets their needs.

“The current reserve is somewhat informal so this is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the developers of Krieg Park to produce an outcome for the whole community,” he said.

The upgrade of Baird Street Reserve is due to take place next year.
