Town signage upgrade

Upgrades to our town entry signs are set to increase the visibility and legibility of the lettering. It comes on the back of community feedback that the signs were difficult to read and obscured by shadow.

The upgrades, which are within the original grant funding budget, will see white panels installed flush behind the lettering to remove the shadow. The back of the signs will also be replaced with a rust-coloured backing to be more sympathetic with the surrounding landscape.

An initial trial of the Rosedale sign has produced excellent results that will be replicated across all 42 signs in the coming weeks. We thank the community for their feedback to help us achieve the best result possible whilst remaining within budget.
