Santos Best Dressed Town Competition 2021

The 2021 Santos Festival of Cycling is fast approaching and will be coming past our council area on Thursday, 21 January.

Held in January during the Santos Tour Down Under and now the Santos Festival of Cycling, the Santos Best Dressed Town Competition has been a part of this event since its inception in 1999. The competition is a great way for South Australian communities to get involved and be a part of the excitement of the event.

The Santos Best Dressed Town Competition is open to all towns, schools, businesses and households along the race route on all stages in these categories:

• SANTOS BEST DRESSED TOWN

• SANTOS BEST DRESSED PRIVATE PROPERTY (including paddocks)
• SANTOS BEST DRESSED COMMERCIAL 0R COMMUNITY PROPERTY (including schools)

This year the private property category will include both residential properties and paddocks, whilst the commercial category will incorporate any business or school/educational institution nomination.

Nominations are not exclusive to one category; therefore, businesses or residents entered under their relevant category can also work with your local town/community to enter in the Best Dressed Town category.

Businesses and residents in your community are able to nominate online now, using the form available at www.tourdownunder.com.au/bestdressed. Nominations close 5pm Monday 18 of January 2021.

There will be daily winners for the Santos Best Dressed Town and Santos Best Dressed Private Property and Commercial or Community Property categories as well as overall winners for each category.

The judging criteria includes showcasing communities’ involvement and creative flair by incorporating appearance and innovation. Nominees will also be judged on how well they have included the Santos brand in their design.
