Roles and responsibilities
The Barossa Regional Gallery-incorporating the Tanunda Soldiers' Memorial Hall are seeking Volunteers.
With three magnificent gallery spaces, the Barossa Regional Gallery is able to present both community-based and professional exhibitions. The visual arts program combines both locally produced artworks, capturing the cultural integrity of the region, and exhibitions touring from across South Australia and interstate.
If you have some time to spare and would like to contribute to this valuable community-based organisation, we would love to hear from you.
- Volunteer duties to suit all abilities
- Varied tasks and flexible hours
- Supervising the Gallery/Shop
- Planning Exhibitions
- Helping with functions, workshops and events
No previous experience or knowledge about art required.
About Barossa Regional Gallery
The Barossa Regional Gallery is located in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley, and is only a short stroll from the main street of Tanunda.
Combining heritage and contemporary architecture, the gallery is part of the Tanunda Soldiers Memorial Hall complex. It offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors to enjoy including art exhibitions, workshops, performances and education programs.
Visitors eager to pick up an authentic Barossa souvenir can also browse the retail space with locally produced books as well as art and crafts available to purchase.
