About Friends of Para Wirra Conservation Park
The Friends of Para Wirra began in 1989, following a public meeting at One Tree Hill, initiated by Ted and Molly Hughes. We are a friendly, hard-working and fun group of all ages, who meet in the Hughes Conference Centre (inside the park office) on the first Thursday of every month and the third Saturday of every month.
We welcome you to join us in learning about our amazing patch, help us remove invasive weeds and undertake planting (as required).
Friends of Para Wirra are a member of the Friends of Parks Inc. who provide us with volunteer training opportunities.
