Roles and responsibilities
We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help look after the site, nursery and to help with project and event planning.
The Barossa Bushgardens and Natural Resource Centre is dedicated to the protection and promotion of our local Barossa plant species and the health of our wider environment.
Volunteers help with:
- Seed collection
- Plant propagation in the nursery
- Garden maintenance
- Re-planting
- Promotions and event planning
Volunteers receive:
- A supportive volunteering environment
- An understanding of local plants
- Lots of social interaction
Join us for our volunteer days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
About Barossa Bushgardens
The Barossa Bushgardens is a community-led project displaying, conserving and distributing local native vegetation. The gardens are used for recreation, environmental education and it is also a place to bring the community together.
