The Barossa Council region has much to offer, for both residents and tourists alike, and we hope that the services and information at Council can provide you with the tools to shape your experiences whilst in the region.

Our online services provide a practical way to get things done such as pay, enquire and apply with Council, and all from the convenience of your own home.

Library services
Our various libraries within the region give more than just the ability to borrow items such as provide home services, library events and workshops for young and old, digital resources and the chance to connect with your community through library social groups.
Transport and home assistance
We are proud to provide Commonwealth Home Support Programme services to support people in our community who need it most, as well as a range of transport services
Recreation and environment
The Barossa area boasts an abundance of natural environments such as conservation parks, reservoirs, bike and walking paths, local heritage and more.
Waste and recycling
It may not be the most glamorous topic, however we take our waste and recycling seriously at the Barossa to do our part in looking after our planet.

In recent years, we’ve invested heavily in infrastructure and key projects that contribute to the wellbeing of our community.

We’re lucky to be so close to some amazing places to visit and enjoy including parks, halls, community centres, aquatic and fitness centres, galleries, playgrounds and more.

Barossa Adventure Station
Barossa Adventure Station in Angaston features a one-kilometre mountain bike trail, zip-line, accessible trampolines, bespoke tower and slide, skate ramps, bouldering wall, half-court basketball, sensory sound forest poles, and serene picnic spaces.

The Rex Barossa Aquatic Fitness Centre
The Rex is the premier gym and indoor swimming pool with modern facilities including 25-metre heated indoor swimming pool and large modern gym and health club equipped with state-of-the-art fitness equipment.

Barossa Regional Gallery
Barossa Regional Gallery in Tanunda combines heritage and contemporary architecture with a range of attractions such as exhibitions, workshops, performances, and education programs.
Emergency and safety
Your safety is important to us, and it’s important to know that there are several sources of information made available to you in case of an emergency.
Social and volunteering
