Community grants

Community Grants are provided for non-profit groups, clubs, and organisations whose interest or purpose is towards projects and activities which contribute to the development of the community within the area and are in line with Council’s Community Plan. Applications for grant amounts up to and including $5,000 (ex GST) will be considered by the Community Assistance Scheme Committee (CASC).

Please read the Community Grant Guidelines for full eligibility criteria. Any Application for funding that is outside the scope of the guidelines will be assessed by CASC in the first instance, with its recommendation and report subsequently presented at the next Council Meeting for a decision.

Community Grant Applications are assessed quarterly in February, May, August and November as specified in the table below. Applications must be completed using the Community Grant application form.
