Road resealing and resheeting
We have adopted a 2020-21 Road Resealing and Resheeting Program and have allocated designated road categories based on road function and safety.
District footpath renewal program
The district footpath renewal program will focus on the highest priority footpath renewal projects across the region.
Barossa town entry signage
We are rolling out contemporary tourism and town signage in 37 locations across the region to signpost visitors to our townships and attractions.
Drought and emergency water infrastructure
We are installing water infrastructure at Eden Valley, Moculta and Mount Pleasant to provide additional water resource capacity for our community.
The Barossa Trail project provides the final connection between the 40km Barossa Trail (The Barossa Council) and the Stuart O’Grady bike path (Town of Gawler).
Stockwell Road and Penrice Road Black Spot safety upgrade
The project will improve the visibility and safety of the intersection of Stockwell Road and Penrice Road at Nuriootpa.
Basedow Road, Tanunda upgrade
The project will see the reconstruction of .6km of road along an important part of the Barossa Freight Route.
