Basedow Road, Tanunda upgrade

The project will see the reconstruction of 600m of road along an important part of the Barossa Freight Route. It will make the road fit-for-purpose to accommodate a mix of heavy vehicles, cars, bicycles and pedestrians.

The project includes reconstruction of the road pavement; drainage infrastructure to address water pooling; and widening of wings at the intersection of Basedow Road and Menge Road.

The $1.2 million project is jointly funded by Council and the Special Local Roads Program.
