Our Road Resheeting Program includes areas in Eden Valley, Flaxman Valley, Moculta, Mount Crawford, Springton, Stockwell and Rowland Flat.
Resheeting Council's sheeted (rubble) roads involves adding a new layer of quarry rubble to the existing surface. It is required to remediate defects, hazards, structure weakness and general deterioration.
Council has assessed rural roads against the designated road categories based on road function and safety.
This allows Council to prioritise our resources and to ensure Barossa roads are effectively maintained and managed against agreed service levels.
Please note: nominated roads may not be fully completed in 2021/22.
