The project will improve the visibility and safety of the intersection of Stockwell Road and Penrice Road at Nuriootpa.

Stockwell Road carries up to 1800 vehicles each day with around 40 per cent being heavy vehicles.

The project will create an off-set intersection by installing ‘teardrop’ medians at the Penrice leg, as well as improved line marking, signage and lighting. The $750,000 project is funded through the Commonwealth Black Spot Fund.
