Local Economic Development Plan

The Barossa Local Economic Development Plan has been created to help support local jobs, business, and long-term economic growth of the area.

There are two primary outputs achieved from this planning process. The first is an overarching economic vision and set of strategic guidelines, reflecting Council’s key economic objectives, both current and prospective. This will act as a guide to the economic development directions for stakeholders inside and outside of Council.

Secondly, a five-year Action Plan with a sharper focus on Council’s investment, planning, facilitation, and marketing activities has been produced. The Strategies and associated Actions complement the strategies of the Barossa Community Plan 2020-2040.
