Registers

Under various Acts of parliament, there are requirements for Council to keep and present information to the public. These include registers.

The assessment record is required to be kept under Section 172 of the Local Government Act.

Our Community Land Register lists and provides information on all of the land parcels owned or managed by Council.

Our delegations register lists the powers and functions Council has delegated.

The Development Register provides information on past and present Development Applications lodged with Council.

We adopt our fees and charges as part of the Annual Budget and Business Plan process each year.

At times, Council will exercise its power to consider matters in confidence and release items at a later date when it's reasonable to do so.

The register of public roads is required to be kept under Section 231 of the Local Government Act.

Council maintains a Register of Salaries available for review online and at our Nuriootpa Principle Office.
