Section 7 Searches

When you buy land in South Australia an agent will seek a search of the title and State and Local Government records. This is so you are made aware of what has occurred on the land.

Searches are required to be processed within 10 working days. We do not accept urgent searches. To make an enquiry about a search please contact us on 08 8563 8444 or to lodge a search please email barossa@barossa.sa.gov.au

The following are examples of Section 7 Searches:

• Have any developments been approved?
• Are there any legal notices over the land?
• What are the rates and charges? And, have they been paid?
