Tree removal and maintenance

You can apply for tree removal on Council land, however, such requests are typically approved only where trees are showing signs of decline or based on risk to the public. Please use the ‘other’ option when completing the application form.

We manage tree maintenance on Council land in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning of amenity trees. We actively work with SA Power Networks to reduce the impact of tree clearance around electrical services. SA Power Networks provides information on vegetation clearance near powerlines.
