Non-complying development

The Barossa Council Development Plan outlines the types of development that are not envisaged (non-complying) within different zones. This type of development is viewed as unlikely to contribute to the desired character of a locality.

However, if you believe a proposal has significant merit, you can make an application for a non-complying development. For more information about the process, refer to our Non Complying Development information guide.
