Barossa Assessment Panel

The Barossa Assessment Panel (BAP) was established to act as a delegate of the Council in its role as a "relevant authority" pursuant to the Development Act 1993. The BAP has its own Terms of Reference, procedures, and protocols and makes decisions independently from the Council. The role of the Council Assessment Panel (CAP) is to make decisions on development applications presented by Council planning staff. A code of conduct sets out standards of conduct and professionalism that apply to members of assessment panels. Any conduct complaints can be directed to the State Planning Commission.
