Barossa Visitor Centre (BVC) is a nationally accredited Visitor Information Centre and one of the busiest in South Australia with around 65,000 enquiries per annum.
The Barossa Visitor Centre aims at the following:
- Curating hand-made Barossa experiences and itineraries for visitors to the region, and,
- Inspiring guests for the purpose of generating longer stays, dispersal throughout the region, and maximising visitor yield and investment in our region.
Businesses across the region can partner with Council and take advantage of promotional opportunities and support services offered through the team. By entering a Participation Agreement, businesses can enjoy a whole host of benefits.

Partnering benefits
- Promotion - through the Barossa Visitor Centre, we'll promote your business 7 days a week using various mediums including face to face/walk-in, phone, email, social media and Barossa.com live webchat.
- Brochure display - we'll display brochures in one or more relevant sections of the Centre.
- Barossa Fact Sheet series - a business listing in any relevant Barossa Fact Sheets, which is distributed in the centre and online on barossa.com.
- Booking services - inclusion in Bookeasy accommodation, tour and ticket booking systems. allowing bookings to be taken by the tourism services team in the centre, over the phone and online on barossa.com. Conditions apply.
- Event support - provide event support including promotions, and Bookeasy ticketing functionalities.
- Industry eNews - access to fortnightly industry e-news – keep up to date with latest industry news, training and opportunities.
- Familiarisation Program - opportunity to receive a visit from the team of staff and volunteers as part of our 8 weekly famil program.
- Social Media - opportunities for content amplification through My Barossa Facebook page, co-managed with Tourism Barossa Inc.
- Wine Resource Guide - Opportunity to be a part of our wine resource that showcases key information about your cellar door in one quick access document.
