Barossa Bushgardens
The Barossa Bushgardens are located at 653 Research Road, Nuriootpa. You can also enter the bushgardens from a walking path located at the Coulthard Reserve entrance on Penrice Road - please look for the Bushgardens sign. The Barossa Bushgardens are open to the public daily and entry is free.
Spanning 7 hectares, the bushgardens provide a recreational and educational destination for visitors wishing to immerse themselves in our stunning natural environment. With a range of walking trails, educational activities, and environmental experiences, the bushgardens allow visitors to simply enjoy nature at its best.
The site is managed by the Barossa Bushgardens Committee with the support of volunteers and two staff members. The committee maintains a Strategic Plan and is in the process of updating its Urban Design Framework (Master Plan). This work is undertaken to ensure a coordinated and planned approach to any further works and/or development on the site.
