Regional Climate Change Adaptation Plan
Like other parts of South Australia, the Barossa region experiences a variable climate between seasons and years. Further to this, we are seeing increased variability in weather patterns across the Valley, which presents us with new challenges and opportunities to address in our changing climate.
The RDA Barossa, The Barossa Council, Light Regional Council, Adelaide Plains Council, Barossa Grape & Wine Association and the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges NRM Board have developed this Regional Climate Change Adaptation Plan that seeks to address.
The Plan reflects the Region’s commitment to adapting to climate change and continues the work started following the signing of the Barossa Regional Sector Agreement on climate change in March 2011 by RDA Barossa.
