Waste and recycling services
The Barossa Council encourages ratepayers to take the challenge to:
'Waste Less, Recycle More'
Hard rubbish refers to your household items that generally don’t fit into, or are not accepted in your normal kerbside bin collections.
From July 2021 we went green with a mandatory green organics service, in an effort to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
A three-bin kerbside collection service is offered to residents within our designated waste collection area.
Recycling and green waste
We are seeking to reduce the amount of waste going into landfill each year. Please join us in our challenge to ‘Waste Less, Recycle More’.
Springton Transfer Station
Hard waste, eWaste and green waste can be easily disposed of at The Springton Transfer Station
