Emergency water management
New water infrastructures are being installed across the Eden Valley, Moculta and Mount Pleasant to provide additional water resource capacity for our community. This is a key project for Council and will include the installation of a new standpipe, tank, pump, power and control system at Eden Valley and Moculta; as well as upgrades to standpipe infrastructure at Mount Pleasant. Applying for the use of water standpipe
The Mount Pleasant standpipe is located opposite Mt Pleasant Showgrounds, near the corner of Tungkillo Road. To request access to non-potable water from the Mount Pleasant standpipe, please attend in person at the Mount Pleasant Branch with ID and complete the Standpipe User Details form to collect a key for the standpipe.
You will need to make payment at $5.00 per kilolitre – no credit is given – payment is to be made on the day.
