If you need to get rid of hard waste, eWaste, drumMUSTER containers, or green waste, you can head to our Springton Waste Transfer Station on 1508 Springton Road, Springton. It's across from Barossa Boundary Road.
Just a heads up, if you're bringing more than 30 drumMUSTER containers, you need to make an appointment.
You can pay with cash (the correct change would be very much appreciated) or card when you get there. The station is open on the second Saturday of each month from 9am to 3pm, but it's closed on days with a Total Fire Ban.
Green organics recycling facility and Compost, Soil & Mulch experts, Kuchel Contractors are also available to The Barossa Council residents to dispose of their organic (green) waste materials.
Proof of Identity or a Barossa Council rates notice is required to access the resident fee, a separate fee will apply to non-residents - refer to the fee table listed below.

Just a reminder, only containers with the drumMUSTER logo are accepted. And make sure they're cleaned up according to drumMUSTER cleanliness standards.

- Car bodies
- Permapine posts - to dispose of treated timber (permapine posts) please contact the IWS Group on 8348 5110 to ascertain costs and arrange a time to drop off at their Dublin site
Please note that fridges and freezers must have gas cylinders and doors removed before dumping.
Buy mulch
Untreated mulch is sometimes available for purchase from Springton Waste Transfer Station at $40.00 for a 6x4 trailer load.
