Identified as one of Australia’s best campgrounds, Rocky Paddock Campground offers basic bush camping among old pine plantations and unique rocky outcrops.
Permits are required.
Online bookings, campground maps, and payments are now available online and are mandatory for all campgrounds. Forest visitors wishing to use a campsite for day visits will also be required to book and pay for their site online prior to arrival.
At certain times of the year, camping and fires are banned. Wood fires are permitted from 1 May – 31 October, however dates may change in seasons where high fire danger persists. Use of fire pits within picnic areas will remain free of charge and available on a first-in, first-served basis.
