Recreational Open Spaces & Ovals
Council has in excess of 200 recreational open spaces and ovals maintained by volunteers, council staff and contractors. Council’s mowing and slashing contracts provide optimum frequency to ensure our recreational spaces are fit for public events and sporting events.

The Barossa Council has 23 playgrounds across the region. Family friendly playspaces that provide playgrounds, BBQ and toilet facilities are summarsied below

Council with assistance from funding partners has established a number of bicycle/walking paths aimed to stimulate recreation and access across the region.
