From 1 July 2017 the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) commenced in the Barossa, Light and Lower North region which comprises the four councils of Barossa, Gawler, Light and Adelaide Plains, and disability services are delivered by various providers.

Local Area Coordination (LAC) is an important part of the supports and activities that will be available to people with disability and their communities as they transition to the NDIS. It is designed to support people with disability to explore and build an ordinary life within their communities.

The Local Area Coordinator for the Barossa, Light and Lower North region is Feros Care.

For anyone looking for disability services in the Barossa region, please contact the Local Area Coodinator email: or phone: 1300 986 970.
