The pedestrian footbridge over the Lyndoch Creek (at the rear of the Lyndoch Institute) has been closed to the public since Tuesday, July 11, to allow for planned upgrades.
Unfortunately, inclement weather has made it difficult for work to begin, therefore pushing out the anticipated period of closure.
The work being undertaken to upgrade the footbridge will greatly improve user safety and access. It is expected the footbridge will remain closed for up to two weeks from the time work commences.
During this time, we encourage you to exercise caution around the work site and when using an alternative route to cross Lyndoch Valley Road.
