Do you have an interesting project, but need some financial assistance to make it happen?
Ideas can now be submitted for the Barossa, Light and Lower North round of Fund My Idea, ahead of the Country Cabinet meeting being held in the region later this month.
Local communities have until Monday 16 November to put forward their project ideas from funding of up to $50,000 available under the scheme.
The highly successful Fund My Idea program is now open for project suggestions to support the communities of the Barossa, Gawler, Light and Mallala Councils.
The program structure includes a unique submission and voting format which makes it truly community-focused. It gives people the opportunity to have their say in where funding is directed in their local area to best meet the community’s economic and social needs.
Members of the public are invited to attend the free community BBQ and the public forum with the Premier and Cabinet Ministers which will be held at the Nuriootpa High School from 5pm on Sunday 18 October.
