Fund My Neighbourhood info session

Following the announcement of the new State Government funding initiative 'Fund My Neighbourhood', an information session will be held at Tanunda Community CWA Hall on 30 August from 3.30-5.30pm.

This will be a change to meet members of the team, learn more at a presentation and speak with team members about your application.

Council acknowledges this is a great initiative and looks forward to being able to work with the wider community to provide support and advice in relation to potential community improvement projects.

Council will provide an update to the local community via its website and Facebook page early next week. 

About the initiative 

Fund my neighbourhood is a $40million that gives communities the chance to put forward their best ideas to improve the area. 

One-off grants of between $10,000 and $150,000 are available for ideas as diverse as small local infrastructure upgrades, trhough to initiatives that strengthen neighbourdhood cohesion. Project concepts that improve local neighbourhoods, are accessible to the community and can be delivered within 12 months should align with one or more of the following categories:

  • Open space, sport and recreation
  • Mobility, transport and safety 
  • Health, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Arts and culture
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Innovation and technoloy
