Green organics service

Council provides a voluntary fortnightly 240 Litre Green Organic waste collection. As of 1 July 2018, Council will have a new contractor providing a Green Organic waste service. 

In order to retain your service with the new contractor, please complete the application form below and submit it to The Barossa Council, PO Box 867 Nuriootpa SA 5355 by 31 May 2018 or complete the form online and email to barossa@barossa.sa.gov.au.

The new service commencing in July will also include the collection of organic matter (i.e. food scraps) that can be placed in the bin. At no additional cost residents will also receive a kitchen caddy bin, a convenient unit designed specifically to capture, store and transport food waste.
