Council is consulting on changes that would pave the way for a new highway service centre on the outskirts of Nuriootpa.
The Development Plan Amendment (DPA) has been spearheaded by a developer seeking to establish a centre comprising a petrol station, restaurant, convenience store, parking, playground and public amenities on the corner of Sturt Highway and Belvidere Road.
It would introduce a policy area where this kind of development is acceptable in this location.
Council is seeking community feedback until 21 February 2019. Written submissions can be made to:
- PO Box 867, Nuriootpa SA, 5355
- fax (08) 8563 8461
Please indicate if you wish to speak in support of your submission at a public meeting on 4 March, 2019 at the Nuriootpa Council chambers at 7pm.
Please note copies of all submissions will be made available to the public for inspection at the Nuriootpa Council office and on Council’s website from 25 February until the public meeting.
