The Barossa Council has a variety of trees and roadside vegetation. Council manages tree maintenance in accordance with Australian Standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning of amenity trees.
Tree removals are typically only approved where trees are showing sign of decline or based on risk to the public. Applications for tree removal is via the Application for Construction or Modification on Council Property using the "other" option when completing the form.

The Barossa Council’s parks and gardens team have a number of key focal areas and streetscapes maintained in optimal presentation, including the Nuriootpa to Tanunda "La Sevillana" rose hedge, Tanunda cutting, Lyndoch Village Green or the various town garden beds and main streets.
