The Barossa Council provides an optional fortnightly 240 Litre wheelie bin green organics collection service to property owners located within all major townships throughout the area. This service is directly invoiced to participating residents by NAWMA and is not included within Council Rates.
It is important for all property owners to ensure that only those materials deemed suitable for collection are placed in the wheelie bins to ensure that the green organic waste is not contaminated and that it can be further processed for reuse for as mulch or compost product in domestic and agricultural applications.
