Roles and responsibilities
No experience is necessary - just a sense of adventure!
Leaders help youth members develop valuable skills in an environment of responsible risk taking, but they themselves develop skills in leadership, project management and event planning.
Scouts are between 5-14 years old.
Tuesday night group meetings within school terms and occasional weekends.
Key responsibilities:
- monthly leaders meeting
- group activities such as hiking or camping trips which can take place a few weekends during the year
Preferred attributes:
- a sense of adventure and good communication skills especially relating to young people
All required training will be provided at no financial expense to the volunteer. Police and DCSI clearance will be required.
About 1st Nuriootpa Scout Group
We cater for girls and boys aged 5 to 14 years of age. Joey Scouts ages 5 to 8, Cub Scouts ages 8-11, Scouts ages 11-14.
